Like humans, dogs need mental and physical stimulation to keep them happy, content and healthy. None of us, human or dog, likes being left alone for long periods without interaction or sufficient exercise. This can result in behavioural problems such as barking, chewing and scratching. So what better way to ensure that your dogs get their exercise than to allow 1st4 London Dog Walking to help you?
The reasons why people come to 1st4 London Dog Walking are varied and no two clients are the same. Sometimes it is due to a change in circumstances and people need some help for say 6 weeks while that skiing accident repairs itself. Often it can be due to an increase in work levels and having less time available. The answer is to find the best London dog sitter they can find.
Whatever the reason, responsible dog owners do not want their pooch to suffer. Neither do we, so we and our team of great London dog sitters are available (even at short notice) to help the two of you out and make sure that your dog gets attention, fun and exercise.
Your dog, either with one of our Dog Sitters or yourselves, benefits from living in one the greenest capitals in the world, with over 600 garden squares, 148 parks and gardens, 122 heaths, commons and greens, 16 city farms, 8 Royal Parks and even 1 historic battlefield (in Barnet).
In Kensington and Chelsea, we are even luckier, with great flowering parks that regularly win Britain and London in Bloom awards, although we do have to respect some of the constraints.
1st4 London Dog Sitters believe in using the parks to the maximum. We plan our routes to keep to quiet roads. Kensington and Chelsea has some lovely tree lined roads but we maximise the parks.
Generally our dog sitters only walk one dog at a time. We don't agree with pack-walking which can compromise your dog's safety and it is a 1st4 London Dog Walking rule to have no more than 3 or 4 dogs on a walk at a time. This way we have complete control and can devote all our care and attention to a very small group.
London Dog Sitters are available seven days a week - even at short notice. We will collect your dog on foot and give him a minimum 45 minute walk. Afterwards, we will deliver him home and, if you are out, we will check that there is fresh water available and we will towel your dog down.
