While your dog can be your best friend, he can also be a noisy nuisance. Barking at innapropiate times, like at night, can be corrected with the use of the Innotek Bark Collar.

If you need a training collar for your dog, you can get one of the many models that Innotek produces. Innotek has collars for small dogs, collars for medium dogs, and collars for large dogs. These collars come in two versions. The most popular one is the one that has sound detectors on it and can sense the vibrations that your dog makes when it barks, and then delivers a small static shock.

Using their own patented system, some Innotek bark collars are able to recognise the best level of discouragement (by way of a tiny static shock) for your dog. The shock can be delivered in seven different levels of intensity, and it comes from the factory set in the lowest one, so that it increases in intensity until the barking stops. At this point the collar will automatically set itself so that all future shocks are at the level below the last one delivered. Other Innotek bark collars give owners a wider range of levels to choose from.

When using the Innotek collar, never use it more than 30 minutes a day, since it can stress your dog if you use it longer than that, and only use it at times where barking would be inconvenient.

Another type of Innotek bark collar uses a spray to confuse the dog and stop the barking that way. The type that delivers the static shock is perfectly harmless, but some people object to them. The collars that produce a spray (usually a lemon/citrus smell) instead of a static shock work in the same way except the spray confuses the dog and stops the barking by encouraging the dog’s curiosity about where the smell came from.

Every Innotek bark collar comes with a small instruction manual that will teach you how to train your dog in a safe way that will eliminate excessive barking.

Summary: This is just a brief explanation of Innotek collars. It talks a bit about the different types of Innotek collars available. In the end, any type of Innotek collar you choose will be both safe and effective.
