Use an Invisible Dog Fence to Protect Your Pet
Thousands of dogs wonder off the yard each year because they got free from their homes. An invisible dog fence can reduce the odds of losing your precious pet, without installing a fence that is ugly. Invisible fences are, conveniently, unseen to keep your yard looking flawless. This is a perfect way to protect your pet.
Practical
Each dog is unique in any given situation. Given the smallest opportunity, and they are off and running. For such pets, a chainlink fence doesn’t cut it. They will dig under, jump over or worry at a fence until they are free. The only practical result is an electric fence. The fence provides immidiate pulses that will sway your pet to stay within their boundary.
Perhaps one of the nicest atributes about electric fences is that they can be used in conjunction with an already placed traditional fence. You simply place the boundary wire about a foot further into the yard in comparison to the present fence, and your pet will stop digging around the bottom attempting to get out. There is no reason to accept a behavior that is so potentially dangerous.
Dogs that get out of their yards are often gone forever. Even with micro chipping and other modern techniques, dogs are prone to getting in serious danger. The whole family would be affected by the loss of your cherished friend. You can block your dog from leaving his home. For owners of escape artists, the worry can be everlasting.
Easy
Installing an invisible dog fence is something most people can handle. You will need a spade, a drill that can make it through concrete, a couple of screwdrivers and a kit. The kit should include the boundary wire, a transmitting unit, and flags for training, a receiver and the collar. You can get additional batteries and extra receivers if you have more than one dog.
Having marked off your desired area, use your spade to dig a small ditch and insert the wire. Drill through the basement wall if needed to place the wires into the transmitter and put them into the power unit. Plug the unit into the wall. Charge the receivers and test the collars to make sure they work properly. Finally, use the the training manual for tips on how to train that hard-headed dog to use the system safely.
Using Equipment
I think one of my favorite advantages with an electric dog fences is that you can combine it with a dog door and provide your pet with additional freedom. avoid] messy accidents. If your pet makes it out the door when you open it, no worries, he can’t go too far without a reminder.
An invisible pet fence can be a real boon. Installed and used properly, it is a wonderful way to keep your animal safe and at home.
